Snug Sauna - a cozy space where scent, steam and stillness work together.
After using Diya Wellness products and connecting with the quality and intention, Rosie from Snug Sauna reached out to me in October 2024 with an idea. She wondered if we could create a bespoke essential oil blend, designed especially for her sauna space and the people who visit it.
To begin, I suggested that Rosie try a selection of Diya diffuser oils to gather real feedback from her customers.
It became clear that strengthening and refreshing scents resonated most with Snug Sauna guests, especially when paired with heat, cold sea air and moments of rest.
In May 2025, Rosie attended one of my aromatherapy workshops where she had the chance to explore, smell, and blend many oils in depth. This hands-on experience helped narrow down the oils.
From there, I began blending and Rosie continued testing and refining the scent in the sauna — listening closely to customer responses and how the aroma evolved on hot stones.
By November 2025, after months of refining, adjusting and trusting our instincts, we arrived at a blend we both loved. One that feels grounding yet uplifting, restorative and energising — a scent that belongs to Snug Sauna.
A Scent with Intention
Today, this bespoke Snug Sauna blend is part of the sauna ritual itself. A few drops on the stones, released into warm steam, offering nourishment, balance, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
